Men’s volleyball team goes down to India 3-0

Bangladesh men’s volleyball team suffered defeat in their second match to India in the XIII SA Games going down by straight 3-0 sets yesterday in Kathmandu yesterday. Bangladesh conceded the defeat following their convincing start in the Games with 3-2 sets victory over Nepal on Wednesday. Bangladesh team, who came back twice to snatch the victory against Nepal to make a winning start, could not repeat their fighting character against India in their second last Group A match. Bangladesh went down by 25-18, 25-14 and 25-15 points. Now if India would defeat Nepal in better set margin, then Bangladesh will move into the semifinal from Group A. Meanwhile, earlier Bangladesh women’s team lost their first match to Nepal and will playing their second Group-B match today.
