Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) seized 60-kilograms of hemp and arrested two alleged drug traders from Nabdiganj point on the Rangpur-Kurigram highway yesterday morning. “An operational team of RAB-13, Rangpur battalion headquarters on suspicion searched a truck and seized the hemp from the possessions of two persons,” said a press release issued by Media Officer of the battalion Major Galib Muhammad Natikur Rahman. The arrested drug traders could be identified as Abu Taleb Mandal, 38, of village Madhupur (Mandalpara) in Sadar upazila of Kusthia and Zerman Ali, 42, of village Ramchandrapur (Dakshinpara) in Shoilakupa upazila of Jhenaidah districts.
