Experts at a meeting here yesterday stressed for providing nutritious meals among school children to reduce the dropout rate. They made the remark while addressing a view exchange meeting on “National School Meals Policy -2019” held at a hotel in the city.
Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque attended the programme as chief guest. Gono Shakkhorota Ovijan and Ashrayon Foundation, volunteer organisations, jointly organised the meeting co-operation with World Food Programme (WFP).
Chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Helal Hossain, the function was addressed, among others, by Divisional Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Anwar Hossain Hawlader, Divisional Deputy Director of Primary Education Directorates Begum Meherun Nesa.
