Man held with 6.60kg gold at Dhaka airport

Customs officials at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport detained a man along with 6.60 kg gold early yesterday. Sources at the airport said Mohammed Murshed Hossain landed at the airport by a flight Qatar Airways at 3 am. Assistant Commissioner (customs ) Sajjad Husain said when Murshed was about to leave the green channel, customs officials challenged him for his suspicious movement.   Gold ornaments were found inside the shopping bag he was carrying. Murshed Hossain was handed over to airport police station for legal action.
