Tk 100 crore allocated to pay up jute-mill workers

The government yesterday allocated Taka 100 crore to clears arrear wage and salary-allowance of workers-employees of jute mills under the Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC).

The finance ministry has made the conditional allocation of the amount, which will be deposited to the personal bank accounts of workers through cheques, to clear arrear wage and salary-allowances of jute mills under the BJMC from August to November, 2019, said a handout yesterday.
