Momo, Emon in same frame after 8 years

Today’s popular artistes Zakia Bari Momo and Mamnun Hasan Emon, who were introduced as the Lux Superstar 2006 and a rising model respectively at the beginning of their career, worked together for the first time in the film ‘Daruchini Dwip’ under the direction of Taukir Ahmed in 2007.  Now again, they will be seen together in the same frame after eight long years. DhakaLive has news about the duo’s latest venture that they have paired up together again in a telefilm titled ‘Ghuri Tumi Kar Akashe Uro’. Written and directed by Jamal Mallik, the shooting of the tele-film was completed in a shooting house in the city’s Uttara last week. Momo said about working with Emon after a long time, “I didn’t even notice that how so many years have passed in front of my eyes. I convey my gratitude to director Jamal Mallik for pairing up together in a brilliant story and completing the work successfully. I felt really wonderful to work with Emon after many days, and we were lost many times to the time of ‘Daruchini Dwip’. I request the audience to enjoy the telefilm when it will be aired on TV.” Emon shared about the work, “Momo and I entered into the media at the same time. Though we didn’t meet often, we have strong bondage of friendship. As a result, I have worked with huge interest and everything made it a good telefilm. I am hopeful about the work as I usually don’t work for the small screen unless it has an original story.” The telefilm will be aired on a satellite TV channel on the Valentine’s Day in 2016, the director informed DhakaLive.
