50 illegal structures demolished

NATORE: About 50 illegal structures were pulled down at main bazar area of Natore town by a mobile court to pave the way for smooth traffic operation in the area on Sunday, reports BSS.
The court, led by UNO of Natore Sadar Upazila Mohammad Nairuzzaman, conducted the demolition at main bazar area and knocked down about 50 illegal business establishments which were erected on both sides of the road occupying government land.
The court also realized Taka 55,000 from 13 makeshifts shops owners on the road.
The court, comprised of law enforcement agencies, officials of Local government and Roads and Highways.
The court would continue its operation to clear the roads in the areas for smooth traffic operation, the UNO said.
