90pc unsuccessful in �Gha� unit results

The admission test results for Dhaka University (DU) Gha unit under the Faculty of Social Science for the 2015-16 academic session were published yesterday where a staggering 90.06 per cent student were unsuccessful.
DU Vice Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddiue announced the results at the central admission office in the administrative building of DU at around 1:15pm yesterday.
A total of 6,171students or 9.94 per cent came out successful against 1,465 seats under Gha or Social Science Faculty (Combined unit) out of 92,078 students who appeared in the test.
Details of the results are available on the website: www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd or the results can be viewed via short message service (SMS) from any mobile operator by typing DUspace GHA space roll number and sending an SMS to 16321.
The passed candidates have been asked to fill up their subject choice form on the website from November 11 to 18.
Students having quota have also been asked to collect quota form from the dean office of Social Science Faculty from 10th to 17th November. The Gha unit admission test was held on November 6. Earlier, the admission test results of Dhaka University Ka unit under science and biological science faculty for 2015-16 session, were published on November 4, having a pass rate of 20.75 per cent.
The admission test results of Ga unit under the business faculty of Dhaka University for the same session were published on October 18 with 17.56 per cent passing the test. A total of 14.68 percent students secured pass marks in the admission test of the Kha unit, under humanities group, of Dhaka University this 2015-16 sessions that were published on October 13.
