Programmmes on Victory Day in Khulna

Khulna district administration has taken programmes to celebrate the Victory Day-2019 here on December 16 marking the most precious day when the country was liberated from the clutches of Pakistani occupation forces after a nine-month long bloody War. To observe the day, elaborate programmes have been chalked at a meeting held recently in the conference room of deputy commissioner with DC Md Helal Hossain in the chair.

Officials, educationists, journalists, political and cultural activists of the city attended the meeting. The programmes include – placing of wreaths on the monument of Shaheed martyrs of Gallyamari just after sunrise on December 16. The day will be heralded by a 31-gun salute at dawn at the Khulna Police Line in Boyra area in the city.
