Shakib becomes proud father

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is now a proud father of a ‘princess’. Her wife Umme Ahmed Shishir gave birth to their first baby girl in the USA yesterday.
The baby came in the world at the early hour of Monday (Bangladesh Time) in a hospital of the USA through a normal delivery.

Shakib’s family source said that both mother and new-born baby are all well and good.  Shakib, who left Dhaka yesterday (Sunday) night, reached USA and is now with his wife and their ‘princess’.
On his verified Facebook page, Shakib said, “On this beautiful Sunday, the 8th of November, 2015, Shishir and I have been blessed by the Almighty with a piece of heaven...Shishir and our little princess are both in good health.”
The world best all-rounder also thanked all for their sincere prayers, kind thoughts and warm wishes.
“Please pray for us and especially our daughter so that she can grow to her full potential with humility, compassion and love for all,” he added.
Earlier, Shakib himself gave a status on his fan page of facebook on October 26 that they have started the countdown for their new ‘princess’.
The left-handed world No-1 all-rounder at a programme at his newly-launched restaurant on August 9 told media that he is going to be started his new innings in his married life though the news went viral first on social media on July 26.
The iconic all-rounder, who showed his career best performance (5-47) with cherry against Zimbabwe in the opener of the three-match ongoing ODI series, tied the knot with Shishir on December 12, 2012 following a love-affair.
The southpaw is granted a paternity leave and won’t be available in the further part of  the ODI and Twenty20 home series against Zimbabwe. Khaled Mahmud Sujan, team manager of Bangladesh, said that Shakib cited emergency family reason and the board let him go.
