Woman crushed under wheels

An elderly woman was crushed under the wheels of a passenger bus in College gate area of Tongi in Gazipur city on Monday. The deceased was identified as Mirzan Bibi, 60, wife Montaz Uddin of Hossain Market area of Tongi. She had a winter cake business at the road side in Hossain market area. Witnesses said a Dhaka-bound passenger bus of Anabil Paribahan from Gazipur hit the woman while she was crossing the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in college gate area, leaving her dead on the spot.
