Mohiuddin Monem receives best tax payer award

ASM Mohiuddin Monem, deputy managing director of Abdul Monem Ltd, and chairman of ServicEngine Ltd, has been honored with the best tax payer award for the sixth consecutive year, the company said in a press statement yesterday. According to the National Board of Revenue (NBR) data, there are about 4 million TIN holders and in the last fiscal year around 2.2 million tax payers submitted their tax returns.  Monem, listed as world’s greatest leader 2018-19 by URS-Asia One Magazine, is recognised as a Commercially Important Person (CIP). He has been honored multiple times with the President’s Award and the National Export Trophy for his contribution to the IT sector of Bangladesh, the statement added.
