Railway pulls down 500 illegal establishments

Bangladesh Railway authority (West) in a drive removed around 500 illegal establishments in Station Bazar and Chamrapotti area of the town today.

Executive Magistrate of Railway Md Nuruzzaman led the drive that started at 10 am and continued till this afternoon.

Assistant Commissioner (land) Md Anisur Rahman was present during the drive along with a large number of Ansar men. Md Nuruzzaman said a Container Terminal would be built on the free land in the coming days.
