Cent per cent LED street electrification in port city

Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) will implement cent per cent LED electrification programmes in the streets of its 41 city wards of the city. About 20,600 LED street lights will be installed under the 41 wards in the port city. The CCC sources said 410 kilometers roads within the city will come under this electrification programmes. “The project will start from July this year as it is scheduled to complete by December 2020,” they added. In this connection, an MOU between Durable and Renewable Energy Development Authority and Energy Efficiency Services Ltd of India was signed in 2017.
