Biman Ctg-Madina flight inaugurated

Bangladesh Biman’s direct flight to Chattogram – Madina was inaugurated at Shah Amanat International Airport Chattogram yesterday. State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mohammad Mahbub Ali inaugurated Chattogram-Madina route as chief guest.

Speaking at the inaugural function Mahbub Ali said government is working relentlessly to increase the Biman’s fleet by procuring more than one hundred aircrafts. He warns against any sorts of irregularity and corruptions in the civil aviation department and none will be spared if found to be involved in any sort of irregularities and corruptions.

The state minister also said the people of Chattogram are very pious, they have been going to go Makkah; Madina frequently for offering Ziarat, Omra Hajj and the direct flight to Madina will help to facilitate the devotees. One flight on every yesterday will fly from Chattogram Airport, airport sources said.
