A woman and her son were killed as a CNG-run auto-rickshaw overturned on Netrakona-Kendua road in Durgashram area of Kendua upazila yesterday afternoon, reports UNB. The deceased were identified as Madina Akhter, wife of Nazrul Islam, a resident of Kismat Barengka village of Purbadola upazila, and her son Shuvo Islam. Abhiranjan Deb, officer-in-charge of Kendua Police Station, said the auto-rickshaw overturned on the road in the area in the afternoon when its driver was giving side to a goods-laden trolley, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
