Country’s eminent Rabindra Sangeet singer Rezwana Choudhury Bannya has again lent her vocal to the playback for a film titled ‘Hotath Dekha’. The music arrangement of the track titled ‘Tabuo Mone Rekho’, which is a Tagore song, has been done by Raja Narayan Deb from Kolkata. Bannya said about the song, “I went to Kolkata a couple of months ago, and the song was recorded there. I think the audience will like the song that is accomplished with fresh music arrangement.”
Based on a Tagore poem, audience-admired actress Debashree Roy from Kolkata and Bangladeshi once-popular actor Ilias Kanchan are playing in this jointly produced film, directed by Reshmi Metra of Kolkata and Shahadat Hossain Bidyut. The shooting of the film began from November 5 in Chittagong.
Rezwana Choudhury Bannya sang earlier for the films ‘Gahine Shabda’ directed by Khalid Mahmud Mithu and ‘Sab Charitra Kalpanik’ directed by Kolkata’s Rituparno Ghosh. l
