6 Shibir men arrested

Jhenidah: Police in a drive arrested six activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir from different student messes in Sheikhpara Bazar area of Shailkupa upazila early Friday over suspicion of subversive activities,
reports UNB.
The arrestees were identified as Jahurul Islam, Murad Hossain, Saifur Rahman Shimul, Muntasir Mamun, Al-Amin and Farid Hossain, all students of Isami University.
MA Hashem Khan, officer-in-charge of Shailkupa Police Station, said police conducted the drive in different masses in Sheikhpara Bazar area early in the morning and arrested them. Later, the arrested were sent to jail, added the OC.
