‘Ongoing anti-graft drive to be continued’

Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday welcomed the ongoing drive against irregularities, casinos and graft and hoped that the current drive will ontinue in the days to come. The JS committee also congratulated the Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina for initiating such move to eliminate corruption from the country, according to an official release here. The committee at its eighth meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban discussed various issues, including the celebration of ‘Mujib Year’ in 2020 marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, added the release.
