CHITTAGONG: Police arrested an alleged drug peddler and seized six bags of phensidyl from Dewanhat area of the city yesterday, reports BSS. On information, police searched a microbus in the area and seized several thousand yaba tablets and six bags of phensidyl. Later, police held t the microbus driver.

The capital’s streets hardly sustain the guaranteed life span of 10-12 years due to substandard repair works as well as water-logging, forcing the authorities to spend huge taxpayers' money…
