Factory catches fire in Gazipur

A fire broke out at a foam factory in Mirerbazar area of Pubail here yesterday. Mamunur Rashid, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the fire broke out in the factory around 8 am.
Three firefighting units from Tongi and Kaliganj brought the blaze under  control around 9:30, he said. The cause of the fire could not be known yet. No causality has been reported.
