One held for sharing Facebook status in Ctg

Police arrested one person from a hotel at Laldighi area here on Monday night for reportedly sharing an insulting status on his Facebook wall against the Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP). The arrestee was identified as Rabiul Alam, 28, son of Ahmed Hossain of Puichhari village under Bashkhali upazila of the district. Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Kotwali thana, said police arrested Rabiul around 11pm from Fouzia hotel for sharing a stimulating status on his Facebook, using ID against Chattogram Police Commissioner Mahbubur Rahman. A case was filed against him under the Cyber Security Act with Kotwali thana agains him.
