Belgium claim FIFA top spot
AFP, PARIS: Belgium are now the best team in the world, according to the latest FIFA rankings published on Thursday. The Red Devils have moved up two places to replace Argentina at the top of the rankings, the first time they have earned that honour.
The South Americans drop to third with world champions Germany retaining second place. Belgium have been rewarded for their Euro 2016 qualifying victories over Andorra (4-1) and Israel (3-1) last month.
