Tran sisters duo to vie for girls� singles title

Tran Liam of the Netherlands toppled top seed Mays Lisa of Australia to reach the girls’ singles final of the Walton 29th Bangladesh ITF Junior Tennis Tournament.
Liam won the semifinal battle 6-4, 7-5 yesterday at the National Tennis Complex in the capital. The Dutch girl will face her sister Tran Demi in the final. Demi came from behind to eliminate A Karunaratne of Sri Lanka 6-7, 6-3, 6-0 in the other semifinal.
Boys’ top seed D Sunish of India maintained his domination when he  beat Yu Hsian of Chinese Taipei 6-3, 6-4 in the quarterfinal.
