Man’s body recovered
Police recovered the body of a man from Pirujali village in Gazipur Sadar upazila on Thursday morning. The deceased was Moniruzzaman, a construction contractor by profession and a resident of the village. Sub-inspector Nazmul Hossain, in-charge of Hotapara police outpost, said locals spotted they body lying in a jungle in the morning and informed police.
Road accident kills two

Two persons were killed in separate road accidents at Mirsarai and Sitakunda in Chittagong yesterday. At Hadifkirhat of Mirsarai on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway, a covered van and a lorry collided head-on around 11am. Later, the driver and the helper were sent to Upazila Health Complex with critical injury, however, the on duty doctor declared the drive as dead.
