CPA employee held

CHITTAGONG: Police arrested an employee of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) from Pahartali railway station area of the city along with two pistols, four magazines and six rounds of bullet early Thursday, reports UNB. The arrestee was identified as Mozammel Hossain, 35, son of Tofazzal Hossain. Hailing from Laskarhat village of Feni Sadar upazila, he is a guard of a ship of CPA. Ranjit Kumar Barua, officer-in-charge of Pahartali Police Station, said Mozammel Hossain was standing beside the 3 no signal gate of the railway station in the early morning. Suspecting his movement, police searched his body and recovered two pistols, four magazines and six rounds of bullet.
