Lawyer sues police inspector, 3 others in Ctg for forgery

A lawyer filed a case with a court in the city yesterday against four people, including a police inspector, on charge of conducting the proceedings of cases forging his signature and seal.
Advocate Sheikh Mansur Ali, a member of Chattogram Bar Association, filed the case with the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Saleh Mohammad Noman.
The accused are Inspector Shamsur Rahman who is now posted in Tourist Police in Chattogram, his bodyguard Mohammad Selim, Moshiur Rahman Beg and Mahbubur Rahman.
The court asked the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to investigate the allegation.
According to the case statement, the inspector forged his signature and seal and used in conducting cases.
