Two shibir men held in Jhenidah

At least two activists of the Islami Chhatra Shibir were held from various places of Jhenidah yesterday morning.
They were allegedly involved with subversive activities, police sources said.
Officer-in-charge of Jhenidah Sadar police station Hasan Hafizur Rahman said police conducted separate drives in the town and arrested the shibir men.
The arrestees were Rakibul Islam, 20, of Vaina village in Jhenidah and Khalid Hossain, 19, of Damurhuda village in Chuadanga.
The arrested were sent to the jail, the OC added.
