Chandrakala to stage ‘Tantra Mantra’ today

Theatre troupe Chandrakala will stage its play ‘Tantra Mantra’ today at 9pm at Bardeshwari Kalimata Mandir in the capital’s Rajarbagh area, on the fourth day of ‘Sharodiya Natya Utsab’.

Like the previous years, Borodeswari Kali Mata Mandir has arranged the five-day theatre festival to celebrate the Durga Puja.

Written and directed by young dramatist and director H R Anik, ‘Tantramantra’ will portray the irregularities and inconsistencies in medical treatment through mockery and comedy. The cast of the play includes Mahmudul Hasan, Molly, Abdul Mannan, SM Angan, Jahidul Islam, Anis, Hasan, HR Anik and others.

Besides, Nagorik Natyangan will stage its play ‘Bangla Amar Bangla O Sei Sob Dingulo’, directed by Hridi Haq, this evening at 7pm at the same venue.
