Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Chairman Mohammad Ismail said bankers are always interested to provide loan to the real businessmen and good entrepreneurs to boost up the country’s economic progress.
The businessmen and entrepreneurs should work with sincerity and honesty to utilize the finance of banks, he said while addressing the closing ceremony of a two-day Entrepreneurship Expo and Elevator Pitch-2019 organized by the Dhaka School of Economics (DScE) at its campus, said a press release yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, DScE Chairman Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad the institution has been developing skill manpower for the betterment of the country. He urged the government and private institutions to put more emphasis on developing skilled manpower.
Dr. Ireen Akther, Professor of IBA of Jahangirnagar University, said a good number of potential entrepreneurs became derailed due to the failure of implementation of their ideas.
Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin, former Professor of Management Studies of Dhaka University, Syed Nasir, Managing Director of Q Pail, and Rehana Parvin and Sara Tasneem, Assistant professors of DScE, among others, also spoke on the occasion.
Professor Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Coordinator of Entrepreneurship Economics of DScE, chaired the sessions of the seminar.
