SUST student ‘commits suicide’

A student of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) allegedly committed suicide by taking poison yesterday. The deceased was identified as Bokul Das, son of Ramu Kumar Das of Sonagao village in Lakhai upazila of Habiganj district. He was a student of Political Studies department of the university and a resident of Shah Paran hall. Zahir Uddin Ahmed, proctor of SUST said Bokul fell sick at around 1:30 am and was taken to Osmani Medical College Hospital where he died. The reason for committing suicide has not been ascertained yet although a suicide note was found in his room mentioning ‘no one is responsible for my death’.
