The Independent shared points with Banglavision TV in their first match of Kool BSJA Media Cup Football Tournament which ended in a goalless draw at BFF artificial ground in the capital yesterday.
Defending champions Banglavision were leading the group with three points and raised their hopes for a quarterfinal place. On other hand Independent will have to beat Dipto TV at least by a margin of 2-0 in their last match today to edge past Banglavision.
Boishakhi TV became the first team to reach last eight beating BSS by 5-0 in their second match. Daily Jugantar beat Gazi TV 2-0, Channel-I beat Bangladesh Television 2-0, Dhaka Tribune beat Maasranga TV 3-2, DBC TV drew 0-0 with Daily Kalerkanta and Bangla Tribune also drew 0-0 with Mews 24.
