Well known magician from Bangladesh Moniruzzaman Liton was honoured with the prestigious ‘Merlin Award’ in recognition of the contributions to the performance and creation of magic around the world.
Conferred by the International Magician Society (IMS), Moniruzzaman Liton received the award in the category of ‘Best TV Magic Show in Bangladesh’, at an award giving ceremony held in Thailand on November 1.
Founder of IMS Tony Hassini handed over the crest to Moniruzzaman Liton as chief guest, where International President of International Brotherhood of Magicians Joe M. Turner was also present. Besides Liton, five magicians from five different countries were also honoured with the prestigious award this year.
Liton said regarding achieving the award, “ I am really very happy to get the award. I seek prayers from everyone so that I can do better in the future.”
