Diti to be taken to Chennai again for treatment today

National Film Award winning actress and director Parvin Sultana Diti, who had been diagnosed with a brain tumour in July this year, had been undergoing treatment at Chennai’s MOIOT (Madras Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology). Even though she had returned back to the country after the treatment, her condition has not been showing much improvement. As a result, at the advice of her doctor Paul T Hengry, she will be flying again to Chennai today afternoon along with her family to receive further treatment.
Diti had a surgery on July 29 as she was diagnosed with brain tumour on July 26. This time, her condition has deteriorated and her family preferred treatment abroad by consulting with Dr Paul.
