The Zimbabwe cricket team, led by Elton Chigumbura, arrived in Bangladesh yesterday to play a series, consisting three ODIs and two Twenty20 Internationals.

The series will start on November 7 following a practice match on November 5 at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium at Fatullah.
The Zimbabwe are visiting the country on the backdrop of an ODI and T20 series loss against Afghanistan who sealed a historic victory against Test nation for the first time, cruising to a 3-2 win in ODI and 2-0 in T20.
A dejected Zimbabwe brought some changes to the squad which played against Afghanistan but it would be tough for them to come out from the spiral of the loss, given Bangladesh’s red-hot form at home condition. Bangladesh never loss any bilateral ODI series at home since their 2-0 defeat to an India team, considered as almost second string team in June 2014.
After that they whitewashed Zimbabwe and won first ever series victory against Pakistan, India and South Africa.
In addition they reached quarterfinal of the World Cup for the first time to make the year 2015 a memorable one. The series win against Zimbabwe would help them to end the year with happy note.
Zimbabwe however have a point to prove following their disappointing loss to ICC associate nation Afghanistan. So they will be charged up against Bangladesh in that sense.
The three ODIs will be held on November 7, 9 and 11 and the two T20 Internationals are on November 13 and 15. All of the matches will be day-night affair with being taken place at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Zimbabwe squad: Elton Chigumbura (captain), Sikandar Raza, Regis Chakabva, Chamu Chibhabha, Tendai Chisoro, Graeme Cremer, Craig Ervine, Luke Jongwe, Neville Madziva, Wellington Masakadza, Richmond Mutumbami, Taurai Muzarabani, John Nyumbu, Tinashe Panyangara, Malcolm Waller, Sean Williams.
