Students demand full-fledged hospital

Students of Satkhira Medical College formed a human chain in front of the press club yesterday morning demanding activities of full-fledged 250-bed hospital.
The students said they have decided to boycott classes and examinations from Saturday as the government is not taking any imitative to run the 250-bed hospital.
The students submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Nazmul Ahsan.
On April 4 this year, Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim inaugurated the 250-bed hospital of Satkhira Medical College. However, no activities began at the hospital yet.  As a protest, students announced to boycott classes and examinations for an indefinite period.
