Stipends distributed

Stipends were distributed among 1,401 meritorious students of class VIII, IX & X of 81 schools on Chowbari Islamia High School ground in Kamarkhanda upazila of Sirajganj on Thursday.
The occasion was organised by a Sufi based welfare organisation Khwaja Mozammel Hoque (R) Foundation (KMRF) where Khawaja Tipu Sultan, chairman of the foundation was present as the chief guest.
The chief guest said, ‘We have passed 42 years of our independence but could not take the nation to its desired goal till today. If only we could follow the ideas of our prophet and Oli-Allah we could surely be recognised as a peaceful and one of the best nations of the world.’
