Two held with arms

Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested two arms traders and recovered firearms and ammunition from their possession in the capital's Sabujbagh Thana area on Sunday night, reports BSS.
The arrestees were M Sahidul and M Omar Faruq, members of an intercity arms traders group.
On a tip-off, a team of DB police conducted a sudden raid in the area and arrested them with four foreign-made pistols, four round of bullets and four magazines, a DMP press release said here yesterday.
In preliminary interrogation, the arrested persons confessed that they were involved with firearms trading.
