SUST protests attacks on bloggers, publishers

Teachers and students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology(SUST) on Monday protested the attracts and killing of writers, bloggers and publishers, including that of Faisal Arefin Dipan who ran ‘Jagriti Prokashony’ across the country.
Dipan was hacked to death in his office in the capital’s Aziz Super Market at Shahbagh on Saturday.
The teachers and students brought out a procession from in front of the Central Library at around 12:00 pm .
The procession was led by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Aminul Haque Bhuyan.
The procession paraded the whole campus and ended at the same place where a protest rally was held.
Among others, VC Prof Dr Aminul Haque Bhuyan, director of students counseling and guidance body Prof Md Rashed Talukder, Proctor Qumruzzaman Chowdhury, Prof Himadri Shekhor Roy and SSF wings president Apu kumar Das spoke at  the rally.
