16 get Mother Teresa Memorial Award-2015

In recognition of humanitarian activities, Mother Teresa Research Centre has been awarded 16 eminent personalities for Mother Teresa Memorial Award-2015, reports BSS.
Golam Qader, Chairman of Mother Teresa Research Centre, declared the names of the recipients for this year, said a press release yesterday.
They are Roushan Ara Bacchu (Language Movement), Nasima Begum and Ikram Ahmed (Administration), S.K. Sur Chowdhury (Banking), Prof Abdul Mannan Chowdhury and Dr Bikiron Barua (Education), Dr Abdul Mazid (Humanitarian services), Eng Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan (Freedom Fighter), Shilpi Afroza Jamil Konka (Fine Arts), Dr Ratan Siddiki (Drama), Poet Principal Mosharraf Hossain Mamun (Poetry), Mahbuba Chowdhury, Shamim Ara Smriti (Literature), Azharul Islam (Research), Dr Uttam Kumar Barua (Medical services), and Azizul Islam (Industries).
Since long, Mother Teresa was not only internationally recognised for her dedicated services but also she was closely associated with the people of Bangladesh during the liberation war in 1971.
Moreover, she was all along active with the people of Bangladesh during various natural calamities.
