17 held with 11 crude bombs

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in an overnight raid arrested 17 alleged saboteurs from Pallabi area in the capital, reports BSS.
"All the 17 people are activists and leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shirbir.
They were involved in different destructive activities in city areas," said a spokesman of DMP media and public relation in an official release yesterday.
He said, "Many Jihadi books, 11 crude bombs, 16 bottles containing petrol bomb-making liquid and Tk 3 lakh from their processions."
A case was filed with the Pallabi Police Station in this connection.
