Bangabandhu mural being constructed at Rajshahi College

A mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is being constructed at Rajshahi College here for inspiring students to know about life and works of Bangabandhu. Principal of the college Prof Habibur Rahman told BSS that brick, sand, rod, stone, marble and tiles are being used to make Bangabandhu’s mural while the stones, marble and tiles were procured from abroad. He expected that it will be the highest mural of Bangabandhu in the country. The principal said its seventy percent work has already been completed while the rest 30 percent work is expected to be completed within next couple of weeks.

KU admission process begins today

The admission process for the first year honours courses under 2019-20 academic session in Khulna University (KU) begins today online, a KU press release said. The process will continue till September 30 as the admission seekers can apply for admission to the university through website www.ku.ac.bd and http://kuadmission.online, it added. The admission test under ‘A’ unit for Science Engineering and Technology School and Live Science School will be held from 10.00 am to 12.00pm on November 2, therelease said. The admission test under ‘C’ unit for Management and Business Administration School will be held from 8.00am to 9.30am, Arts and Humanity School, Social Science School, Law School and Education School under ‘B’ unit from 1.30pm to 3.00pm and Fine Art School under ‘D’ unit from 4.00pm to 5.30pm on the same day.

CoU online application process begins today

The online application process for admission into the first-year honours programmes in Cumilla University (CoU) under 2019-2020 academic session will begin today. The online application process will start from 12:00 am on Sunday and continue till 12:00a m on September 30, said a CoU press release. The applicants of ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ units would have to pay Tk 550 over TeleTalk bill payment service. The admission test for ‘A’ unit will take place on November 08, while for ‘B’ unit on the same day at noon, and ‘C’ unit on November 09, the release read.
