Mercantile Bank gets new DMDs

Shamim Ahmed and Md. Nurul Islam have been promoted as deputy managing director (DMD) of Mercantile Bank Limited, the bank said in a press release.

Prior to achieving this position, Shamim Ahmed was the senior executive vice president (SEVP) and head of international division and Md. Nurul Islam was the senior executive vice president (SEVP) and chief financial officer (CFO) of the bank.

Ahmed completed his graduation in Statistics from University of Dhaka and Islam completed his graduation in Accounting from University of Dhaka. Islam received a Ph.D in SME Banking and completed CA from ICAB.
