Tanveen Sweety is a popular name in the field of television commercials and dramas. Interestingly, it is unknown to many that this audience-admired model-actress started her journey in the acting world through a theatre production in 1995.

Sweety made her theatre debut with the play ‘Payer Awaj Pawa Jay’, written by late noted litterateur Syed Shamsul Haq and directed by late veteran theatre personality Abdullah Al Mamun. She later acted in the popular plays like ‘Spardha’, ‘Kritadas’, Tomari’, ‘Krishnakanter Will’, ‘Meraj Fakirer Ma’ and ‘Meherjan Arekbar’, among others.

Today is the birthday of this versatile actress. Sweety will be spending some quality times with her friends and visit her father’s house today, she told.

Sweety will be seen performing in the play ‘Mukti’, directed by Tropa Majumder, on September 12, the actress informed. l
