Lightning kills farmer

An elderly farmer was killed in an incident of lightning in a crop field at Boiratihat village of Mithapukur upazila in the district yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Tushar Kanti, 65, of nearby village Piyar Majhipara in Mirjapur union of the upazila.
