EWU launches its new website

East West University (EWU) has launched its new website on EWU campus at Aftabanagar in the capital yesterday, says a press release. Apart from these technical improvements, this new website also contains some detailed content and user-friendly connectivity. But the address of the website remains the same which is www.ewubd.edu. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Syed Manzur Elahi, chairperson, Board of Trustees, EWU, and former adviser to a caretaker government, Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, chief adviser of EWU and former governor of Bangladesh Bank, members of the Board of Trustees, vice-chancellor, treasurer, deans and heads of various administrative departments. They hope that through the new website, East West University will be able to establish with more contacts with students, faculty members and guardians from home and abroad.
Speaker visits DSCSC

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Wednesday visited Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) in capitals Mirpur area and attended training programme for 2019-2020 session. She also spoke on Parliament: Role, Function, and Parliamentary Practices in the Context of Parliamentary Democracy, an ISPR release said. DSCSC Commandant Major General Md Enayet Ullah and other senior military and civil officials were present on the occasion, along with their spouses. Four students of Dhaka University were also present on the occasion. A total of 235 trainees, including 125 from Bangladesh Army, 34 from Bangladesh Navy, 22 from Bangladesh Air Force and other 54 from different foreign nations took part in the course.
