The Bangladesh Chhatra League expelled three of its leaders yesterday for their alleged involvement in vandalism and obstruction of government work. Those who have been expelled are – Chhatra League’s Government Gournadi College unit President Sakhawat Hossain Sujon, the unit’s former vice-president Sumon Molla Mahmud and municipality unit leader Milon Khalifa. The decision was announced in a media statement signed by the student front’s Barishal district unit chief Hemayet Uddin Serniabat and General Secretary Abdur Razzak yesterday. On Sunday, nine people, including two pedestrians, were injured in a turf war between two factions of Chhatra League on the campus.
