Radio Asia Conference in October

Dhaka will host the ‘Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Radio Asia Conference and Radio Song Festival-2019’ from October 29 to 31. ABU will arrange the festival in association with Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television, a handout said.

A meeting of the committee to oversee the overall management of the upcoming festival was held yesterday at the conference room of the Ministry of Information with committee Chairperson and State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan in the chair.

The steps so far taken to make the festival a success were discussed in detail at the meeting. While reviewing the overall preparation, Dr Murad called upon the members of the sub-committees formed to arrange the event to discharge their duties properly.
