The certificate award ceremony of No. 99 Junior Command and Staff Course of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at Bangladesh Air Force Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) at BAF Base Bashar in the capital on Thursday, reports BSS. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed certificates and trophy among the graduating officers, an ISPR press release said on Thursday.
A total of 13 officers from Bangladesh Air Force and one officer each from Bangladesh Navy, Indian Air Force, Royal Malaysian Air Force, Nigerian Air Force and Sri Lankan Air Force attended the course. Squadron Leader Md Hamidul Haque of BAF was awarded with the "Chief of Air Staff's Trophy" for his best performance in the course. While addressing, Assistant Chief of Air Staff thanked the government of participating countries for sending student officers in this course and hoped that they would continue to send their officers in future as well.
