Man killed by �daughter� in Tongi

A man was allegedly killed by his drug addicted daughter in Mirashpara area of Tongi in Gazipur yesterday. The deceased was identified as Fazlul Haque, 70, a freedom fighter of the area. Sub-inspector of Tongi model police station Abul Khayer said Farzana Yasmeen Munni, 30, daughter of Fazlul Haque, was a drug addict. On Friday morning, she locked into an altercation with her parents over this issue. At one stage, she kicked her father and mother, leaving her father dead on the spot and mother Rehana Haque seriously injured. Locals rescued Rehana and sent her to local clinic. They also caught Farzana and handed her over to police. Police recovered the victim’s body and sent to Gazipur Shahid Taz Uddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
